Job Overview

The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites that deliver an exceptional user experience. This role requires expertise in custom themes, plugins, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clean, efficient code and a strong eye for design and functionality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
  • Customize existing themes and plugins to meet client and project requirements.
  • Develop custom themes and plugins from scratch when necessary.
  • Ensure website performance, security, and SEO best practices are implemented.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs efficiently.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and the marketing team to bring ideas to life.
  • Perform regular website maintenance, backups, and updates.
  • Stay current with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and technologies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience in building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.).
  • Knowledge of website optimization techniques (speed, performance, SEO).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
