The SEO Executive is responsible for developing and executing effective search engine optimization strategies to increase website visibility, traffic, and performance. This role requires a solid understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and analytics. The SEO Executive will collaborate with the content, web, and marketing teams to implement strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content accordingly.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement necessary improvements.
- Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building practices.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Analyze SEO performance and prepare detailed reports on rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed across all platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO and search engine trends, algorithm updates, and tools.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of proven experience as an SEO Executive or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager.
- Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (especially WordPress) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
