Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Billing Manager at ZEE IT Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our medical billing operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the medical billing process, including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and collections.
• Managing and leading a team of billing specialists to achieve departmental goals and targets.
• Collaborating with medical professionals, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
• Reviewing and analyzing billing data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and other relevant standards.
• Implementing best practices for revenue cycle management and optimizing billing workflows.
• Generating regular reports and presenting key performance metrics to senior management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in medical billing, with a proven track record of managing billing processes effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing codes, terminology, and procedures.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all billing activities.
• Proficiency in using medical billing software and relevant tools.
• Problem-solving skills to address billing discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
