Zee IT Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Billing Team Lead to join our dynamic healthcare team. As the Medical Billing Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our medical billing operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of medical billing specialists, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the entire medical billing process, from patient registration to claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal departments, to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Monitor and analyze billing data to identify trends, opportunities for process improvement, and revenue optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and industry trends to ensure compliance and accurate billing practices.
• Handle escalated issues and complex cases, providing effective solutions and maintaining a positive patient experience.
• Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, key metrics, and areas for improvement to senior management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, with a strong understanding of billing processes, coding, and insurance claim procedures.
• Leadership experience with proven ability to guide, motivate, and develop a team towards achieving targets.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 codes, and billing regulations.
• Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the healthcare landscape and implement best practices accordingly.
